The Four Main Categories

🔥 Urgent

Time-sensitive emails requiring immediate attention. Usually from colleagues, clients, or containing deadline-related keywords.

📋 Important

Important but not time-critical emails. Project updates, meeting invites, and important notifications from trusted sources.

📰 FYI

Informational emails to read when you have time. Newsletters, updates, and low-priority notifications.

📱 Social

Social notifications, promotional emails, and other low-priority messages that can be batched or ignored.

How the AI Makes Decisions

Zunkk's AI analyzes multiple signals to determine the correct category for each email:

1. Content Analysis

  • Tone and language: Formal vs. casual communication styles

3. Behavioral Learning

  • Response patterns: Which emails do you respond to quickly?

  • Time of day: When do you typically handle different types of emails?
  • Corrections: When you move emails between categories, the AI learns

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Important emails in FYI category

Solution: Move the email to "Important" and star it. The AI will learn that emails from this sender or with similar content should be prioritized.

Too many emails marked as Urgent

Solution: Review and reclassify emails. The AI may need more training data to understand your specific urgency criteria.

Newsletters in Important category

Solution: Move them to FYI or Social. Consider using the unsubscribe feature if you no longer want these emails.
